Dr. Jim Lord, a health care leader in Wisconsin, was elected to the WPS Board of Directors in June 2001. He retired in 2018 after 36 years of private dental practice in Middleton.
Dr. Lord was a member of the American Dental Association and the Wisconsin Dental Association. He has served as a delegate to the Wisconsin Dental Association and represented it on the Wisconsin Public Health Advisory Council and on the Wisconsin Dental Association Annual Session Committee. Dr. Lord served as a member of the Dane County Dental Society, including 20 years on its Peer Review Committee. He was also on the Dental Society’s Board of Trustees for seven years, including positions of trustee, secretary, treasurer, president-elect, and president.
Dr. Lord received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1979 and his doctor of dental surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Georgetown University Dental School in 1983.
