Chief Product Officer
Sandi Gardner transitioned to the Chief Product Officer role in 2023 after serving as WPS’ Chief Technology Officer for more than three years.
Sandi joined WPS in October 2014 and has served in several roles of increasing responsibility. As Chief Product Officer, she is responsible for the identification, development, and alignment of all WPS products to the company’s vision and strategy. In this role, she also leads execution of the business development strategy that allows WPS to continue to grow. She has more than 20 years of experience in technology and the health care industry.
Sandi is the executive sponsor of WPS’ WISE (Women in Search of Excellence) Employee Resource Group and an active proponent of encouraging females in the pursuit of STEM and leadership careers. She has been a panelist for the Gartner International Women’s Day Celebration, interviewed as a customer expert in IT Financial Management, and sits on the Gartner Healthcare Leadership board.
Earlier in her career, Sandi worked in commercial and consumer insurance and financial services as well as the health care provider and payer sectors. She has held leadership roles over Project Management, Applications, Infrastructure, and Clinical Informatics. Sandi also spent 10 years volunteering and working in emergency patient care as an Advanced EMT and ER Technician.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and executive education in finance from Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
