As a part of WPS Health Solutions’ diversity, equity, and inclusion enterprise strategy, WPS Community Partnerships strives to break down inequities through philanthropic efforts with an emphasis on underserved and undervalued communities to ensure we are intentionally removing systemic barriers for all to have a high quality of life. Typical support can be long-term projects or in-kind contributions reviewed annually.
A focus on mental health realizes our company purpose—to make health care easier for those we serve. Our efforts in this area focus on establishing partnerships that strengthen support for mental health and well-being, with an emphasis on military service members, veterans, and additional underserved and underrepresented communities.
We establish partnerships that provide support to the wide range of human differences and foster an environment that encourages people to be their authentic selves. Partnerships may include advocacy-based professional organizations for underserved and underrepresented communities (e.g., professional networking groups and non-profit organizations).
We partner with organizations that lift underrepresented business owners to increase innovation and promote growth. Our focus is on establishing partnerships (e.g., chambers of commerce, and small/disadvantaged business-related advocacy groups) that help us diversify our supply chain, leading to innovative solutions, healthy competition, and improved performance.
