Support Guidelines

WPS Health Solutions establishes and invests in community partnerships through sponsorships, donations, volunteerism, and in-kind support to address key drivers of social and health equity—with a strong emphasis on mental health and well-being support for all communities. We strongly encourage those seeking our support to review our three focus areas and submit applications in the annual cycle of the year before an event occurs or a donation is needed.

WPS’ support can take many forms, including:

  • Financial contributions (e.g., donations and event sponsorships)
  • Promotional item donations for events based on availability
  • Silent auction donations based on availability
  • Employee volunteering
  • Use of our office location parking lots/grassy areas and training rooms

Support Requirements

  • Nonprofit organizations classified 501(c)(3), tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service
  • One-year projects or annual support only
  • One or more of WPS' three areas of focus met

Community support requests will be declined without consideration for the following:

  • Individuals or individual foundations (e.g., individual fundraising events and activities)
  • Third-party team requests or organizational campaigns (e.g., United Way, Relay for Life, Breast Cancer 3-Day, etc.)
  • Political organizations and/or candidates
  • Endowments or capital campaigns
  • Support of organization's board or executive compensation, salary expenses, or other administrative costs. A 15% or less allocation of donation amount to compensation/salary/hourly personnel and administrative expenses will be considered.
  • Fraternal or labor organizations

Submission Requirements

While every cause is worthy, WPS receives hundreds of requests each year. Unfortunately, we are unable to partner with every organization we would like to support. We ask for your help in only submitting requests during our annual cycle and that your proposals fall within one or more of our three areas of focus.

Please note that even though you may have received a donation or sponsorship from WPS in the past, you must reapply to be considered.

There is no minimum requirement for support requests, but there is a maximum limit of $10,000 (based on available funding). Decisions are heavily weighted on alignment with WPS' three areas of focus.

Every annual funding cycle request starts with submitting a Community Support Request application. Requests are compiled after the application deadline, reviewed for completeness, and evaluated by a selection committee.

June 2024-June 2025 Funding Timeline

  • Feb. 14: First day to submit an application
  • April 12: Application deadline
  • June: Community Impact Dollars/Support awarded
  • Additional cycles may open based on available funding
