Kristine Euclide

Board Member

Kristine Euclide, a veteran business and community leader, and regulatory attorney in Madison, was elected to the WPS Board of Directors in 2007 and served as Board Chair from March 2019 to April 2023.

Euclide joined Madison Gas and Electric Company (MGE) in 2001, serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel and as a director of the MGE Foundation. In late 2015, she stepped down from the senior vice president/general counsel position and continued to serve MGE as a Strategic Projects Assistant to the CEO until retirement in 2016. Euclide has more than 40 years of legal and business experience, focusing on energy, regulatory, local government, environmental, and employment law matters. Previously, she was a senior partner with the Madison office of Stafford Rosenbaum, LLP, where she was the Managing Partner. From 1997 to 1999, Euclide served as executive assistant to the Dane County Executive, the county’s highest elected official.

Euclide serves on a number of community and professional organizations. She currently is on the boards of Gathering Waters—Wisconsin’s Alliance for Land Trusts (vice chair), TEMPO Madison Foundation (vice chair), Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin, and Madison Symphony Orchestra (advisor).

Euclide received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh in 1973 and her juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1976.
