At WPS Health Solutions, helping veterans has always been a part of our mission. WPS was founded in 1946 in part to help World War II veterans returning to Wisconsin get the affordable health care that they needed.
We remain committed to those who serve our country. At WPS, hiring veterans is a priority. We wanted to share some of their stories with you.
Q: Why did you join the military?
A: I grew up surrounded by family that served. The Marine Corps offered me opportunities that I did not believe were achievable for me post high school. My time as a Marine enabled me to learn a myriad of skills, promoted discipline, and instilled the confidence that helped me achieve many successes on my journey through life.
Fun Fact: I have run 35 marathons and I have been a hobby beekeeper for going on four years.
